PUBG, aka PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, is a Battle Royale game developed by PUBG Corporation. To summarize, it’s a multiplayer online game where up to 100 players parachute onto an island and scavenge for weapons and try to kill others while trying to survive. As the match progresses, the available safe area shrinks, forcing encounters between players. Consequently, the last player or team standing wins.

PUBG – Review

Bullseye! Or headshot

It’s undeniable, PUBG is everywhere! Whether it’s the great visuals, the freedom to choose your arena, or just the thrill and the realism of a Battle Royale shared with friends; the game is addicting. In addition to the thrilling realism, the game also provides accurate weapons. In fact, not only the designs are accurate, but also the shots themselves. PUBG is very demanding where skill is concerned, and you’ll feel the satisfaction hit when you score your first precise shot.

Sniped by PlayerUnknown

Even though PUBG has been a huge hit so far, the game has attracted some toxic players. Some people want to see the world burn or the arena, at least. As a matter of fact, there are a lot of cheaters and hackers determined to ruin the game, although they are punished after the fact. In addition, the game has a part bug, part frame rate issue. For instance, a sniper could hop from behind his hideout, shoot you, and go back into hiding without ever showing up on your screen, even though you’re looking straight at them.

Sure, the game has cheaters, but al games do. The good thing is, PUBG doesn’t let these kill-joys go unpunished. However, the frame rate and bug issues are other problems altogether. The game is engaging on its own, but these problems left unfixed could ruin the game for some players.

Where to find the game

PUBG is available on six different platforms. If you prefer mobile gaming, you can download the game from Google Play or the App Store. If you prefer consoles, it’s available on PS4, Xbox, and Stadia. However, if you want to play on Windows, you can get the game on Steam.

How to play PUBG

The first thing you need to know about PUBG is that it’s a Battle Royale game. Like many others, you parachute from a plane on a vast map and scavenge to find items, gear, weapons, and healing items. Also, you can get vehicles to outrun the shrinking safe area and avoid getting killed. You can go in alone in single-player, or as a team. No matter what you choose, the last player or team standing wins. However, if you decide to go alone, it’s essential to know that the arena can hold up to 100 players. In other words, your odds of winning decrease the fewer teammates you have, and if you go in alone, those chances decrease to 1 in 100. Before jumping into the battle arena, you can practice shooting, see different weapons, and get used to the game’s mechanics in the game’s tutorial.
