Forza Motorsport 7 – Review
What makes it great
Some racing games lock the player into one ever repeating race till they’re bored. Others add some customization options and a few more race tracks, sometimes throw in some goals. Forza Motorsport 7 goes above and beyond to make sure you never run out of options or races. The game features over 700 cars, 200 configurations, and over 30 locations and tracks. Also, it has several goal-based modes, and day/night settings, as well as weather choices. So you can choose multiple options between cars, engines, tires, tracks, locations, time, and weather to make every race a unique experience. The game also has a fantastic loot crate system where you can get several items and prizes.
The game’s shortcomings
First, the sounds, music, and frame rate on the windows version of Forza aren’t great. Sometimes the sounds are too obnoxious and loud. At other times, they sound distorted and echoed. Also, collector car requirements are ludicrous. If you spot a collector car you want to get, and there are ten bad cars before it you haven’t purchased, you’re in bad luck. You have to buy every one of them to unlock the one you want, which is ridiculous.
Despite its shortcomings, the game is excellent. Forza Motorsport 7 has enough options for you to play; you will never run out of unique races.
Where to get the game
First, the Forza Motorsport 7 campaign divides this mode into cups with several stages each. You can complete these cups in any order you want and skip those you don’t like altogether. Second, you can purchase collectible cars using experience credits you can earn during races. Third, the game allows you to tune your car the way you want. That means you can adjust the tire pressure, replace the engine, replace the paint job, etc.… Last, you can choose the location, daytime or night time, and weather and start racing in either single-player mode or multiplayer mode.
